Compared with ISO20653 and IEC60529, the main difference is in the code K, the code "K" is to describe special requirements for road vehicles. For automotive electrical equipment, the test can be carried out as per ISO20653. The water ingress protection test method specified in ISO20653 refers to the relevant regulations in IEC60529, but except test grades IPX0 to IPX8 according to IEC60529, the ISO20653 increased IPX4K, IPX6K and IPX9K test methods special for automotive electrical equipment.
