Test Eha: IK01 to IK10 Pendulum Hammer Impact Test Apparatus Swing Pipe Combines with Striking Elements

 

1. Introduction

The IK mechanical impact test apparatus is designed according to IEC60068-2-75 Test Eha and IEC62262 (equivalent EN62262), and can meet the test requirements of IEC60598, EN50102. The IK Code was originally defined in European Standard BS EN 50102:1995 and amended in 1998, following its adoption as an international standard (IEC 62262) in 2002, the European standard was renumbered EN 62262. The IK code is from 00 to 10, and corresponding impact energy is from 0.14J to 20J.

 

This equipment can perform IK01 to IK10 tests, the swing pipe can be adjusted back and forward, left and right, and the angle also can be adjusted. The hammer for 1J and below tests is made of nylon, and the hammers for IK07 to IK10 tests are made by steel, the working principle is : the sample is placed in normal, then adjust the impact points, and position the impact device, then release the hammer to freely impact the hammer. The impact angle and impact height are adjustable.

 

For low energy tests (≤1J, IK01 to IK06), there will be a mounting fixture to fix the specimens as per IEC60068-2-75 clause 4.2.2, the mounting fixture is designed according to IE60068-2-75 figure D.3, and applied to fixed the specimens like switches, lampholders, covers, screw glands, plug, sockets and etc..

 

The test rig is made of aluminum alloy, with four wheels at the bottom, and the whole device can move freely.
