IEC60529 Vertical Rain Test Chamber for IPX1 and IPX2 Testing
The vertical rain test chamber simulates vertically dripping and 15° tilted dripping conditions, designed to meet IEC60529 standards for IPX1 and IPX2 waterproof testing. This integrated chamber system combines drip box, turntable, water supply, and control units for comprehensive testing.
Product Overview
Electrical samples are securely placed on the turntable directly below the drip box. Users input test parameters via the touch screen interface, while the PLC system ensures precise control throughout the testing process. This equipment effectively verifies whether electrical appliances meet IPX1 and IPX2 water resistance performance requirements.
IPX1 Testing: Vertically falling drops shall have no harmful effect. Test duration: 10 minutes, equivalent to 1 mm/minute rainfall.
IPX2 Testing: Vertically dripping water shall have no harmful effect when enclosure is tilted up to 15° from normal position. Test duration: 10 minutes (2.5 minutes in each of 4 fixed tilt positions). Water equivalent to 3 mm/minute.
