1. Introduction

The impulse withstand voltage generator is a voltage wave tester with a waveform of 1.2μs/50μs. The frontier time is 1.2μs and the half-peak time is 50μs. It conforms to the standards of IEC 60335 and IEC60950 standard, GB/T 17215-1998, GB 7251.1-1997 8.2, IEC60060, IEC1036: 1996, GB/T 16916.1, GB/T 16917.1, GB/T 14048.1-2001 and etc.. The equipment is used to detect the ability of watt-hour meters, low-voltage electrical components to withstand transient over-voltages, and the Electrical clearance and creepage distance. The test voltage is up to 10KV/12KV/15KV.
