IEC60335-2-23 Electrical Safety Test Equipment for Helmet-Type Hairdryers with 60° Test Angle and 200mm Wooden Sphere

This specialized testing device is engineered to meet the rigorous requirements of IEC60335-2-23 clause 3.1.9 for helmet-type hairdryers. The complete test system consists of a test bench, dull black-painted wooden sphere, and wire frame assembly.

During testing, helmet-type hairdryers are operated with the hood axis inclined at 60° to horizontal, or at the maximum angle permitted by the construction if less. A 200mm diameter dull black-painted wooden sphere is precisely positioned within the hood, with its center aligned to the hood axis and maintaining a 50mm clearance from the air-outlet grille. For hairdryers featuring flexible hood attachments, the attachment is placed over the wire frame, which is positioned over the wooden sphere.
