IEC60335-2-14 Similar Test Probe B with 125mm Circular Stop Face for Verifying the Stability and Mechanical Hazards of Kitchen Machines

Introduction

Similar test probe B is designed to meet the test requirements of IEC60335-2-14 clause 20.2. The finger part, except for the length, is identical to test probe B of IEC61032, but features a circular stop face with a diameter of 125mm and a distance of 100mm between the tip of the test finger and the stop face. The finger part has two active joints that bend at 90 degrees and is constructed from stainless steel. The handle, made of insulating material, can be customized with terminals or an M6 threaded hole to work with a force gauge for applying force.

    Pego: There are two methods for applying force during testing:

    1. Choose the test probe with a built-in thruster located in the handle. Simply push the handle to apply the appropriate force.
    2. The probe can work with a force gauge to apply force. The probe is configured with a connector at the tail of the handle.

    Normally, the recommended applied test force is 10N, but some product standards may require up to 50N.

  • How does the probe connect with a continuity indicating circuit?

    Pego: The probe comes with a wire for connecting to a continuity indicating circuit. Users can create their own continuity indicating circuit or purchase an electrical indicator from Pego.

  • How to store and maintain the test probes in daily life?

    Pego: The probes come with a protective case. When not in use, store them in the case to maintain their condition.

  • How do you prove that the probes meet the relative standards?

    Pego: Users can request a calibration certificate issued by an ISO17025 authorized lab. Please note that the calibration certificate is charged separately.
